Welcome to a brand new month and the last one to take advantage of all the great deals that are available during Sale-A-Bration. March also means we’re getting closer to new catalogue time and our current 2016-18 In Colors will be retiring in just a few months 😦

As we get closer to June there is usually a run on all the In Color supplies; cardstock, ink, refills etc… and they usually sell out very quickly, so I’ll be sending some reminders to all my customers this month to stock up their favourites as early as possible so they don’t miss out.

I’ve created a simple card using all the 2016-18 In Colors and the design was inspired by this weeks’ CAS(E) this Sketch! #260 challenge. The layout was perfect for what I had in mind 🙂

I thought these sentiments from Sorry for Everything were just right for my reminder card and inked up the large “sorry” in each of the 2016-18 In Colors; Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach & Sweet Sugarplum, using sponge daubers.

This stamp set is a new one for me and is full of great sentiments that mix and match with the large “sorry”, make sure you check it out in the Annual Catalogue. I think it’s one of those sets that would be really useful to have on hand for those not-so-great situations that happen from time to time.

I added a few spots around the main sentiment using an image from Work of Art in the same colours, stamped off once. I’ve layered this one onto some Emerald Envy cardstock and will mix it up with the other colours on the rest of the my cards.

Although I’m looking forward to the new colours that freshen up our selection each year, I will definitely miss most of these ones, my two favourites are Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy, I’ll have to make sure I make the most of them while I can 🙂

I hope you liked my card-with-a-purpose today, I rarely use these colours together but think they worked together quite nicely today. I’ll be posting these reminders out around the middle of March, but you can always stock up on your favourites now, the earlier the better, that’s what I’m doing 🙂
