Happy Monday everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying the Australia Day long weekend and the last day before the kids go back to school, YAY! 🙂 I also hope you’re not sick of seeing the Birthday Bonanza Suite yet, because today I actually have a birthday card to share with you using it 😉

Today’s card was inspired by the sample on page 32 of the 2020 Mini Catalogue, I just pared it back a little and made it all about the number three for our three year old niece.

I used the 1-1/2″ Circle Punch to create the windows for my little animals to peep through and made a template from some scrap cardstock first to make sure I got them exactly where I wanted.

The animals were all fussy cut from the Birthday Bonanza DSP and attached inside their windows and a layer of Bermuda Bay added a bright background behind them. The number three was die cut from the same DSP as the animals using the Large Numbers Dies (retired) and I die cut it several more times from Whisper White cardstock to help it pop off the card.

Three butterflies from the Well Written Dies filled in the blank space on my card front a little & a couple of pompoms dressed up my party animals hats and added some texture.

I die cut a few banners from the Birthday Bonanza DSP and added another fussy cut animal to dress up the inside. The sentiment is from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set and that finishes off today’s simple project 🙂

I actually feel a little relieved that I’ve finally used this fun suite for a birthday card and plan to make a few more to have on hand for the littlies in the family.
