Love What You Do

Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Love What You Do

I’m sure you’ve all seen the new Share What You Love Bundles that are available now as a special early release offer from Stampin’ Up! I have to admit I jumped on these as soon as I could as I loved the new stamp sets and the chance to get FREE new goodies was the icing on the cake!

Today’s card is the first project I’ve made with the Love What You Do stamp set and I’m looking forward to making many more. This is such a versatile set with images and sentiments that not only work together beautifully, but will also mix and match with loads of other sets as well.

Little Paper Party, Love What You Do, Eastern Medallion Framelits, #1

I really wanted to feature Grapefruit Grove which is one of the *new* 2018-20 In Colors that comes in each level of the Share What You Love Bundles. As I’d purchased the Gotta Have It All Bundle I also received the coordinating cardstock pack and Share What You Love Artisan Pearls, so had a few extra elements in this colour to use.

I stamped a flower and leaf image randomly over a Whisper White layer in Smoky Slate ink to create a soft background and then used one of the textured stamps in the set to colour the flowers and simply stamped it twice to fill it in. This is such a quick way to colour the flowers and I love the sketchy look it gives.

The sentiment was die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and popped up on a piece of Grapefruit Grove cardstock die cut with one of the Eastern Medallion Thinlits. I added this to the left edge of my card front and trimmed off the overhang which left enough room for a little bit of Smoky Slate Gingham Ribbon (retiring – available while stocks last) to add some more texture.

A few of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls added the finishing touch and I layered my card front onto a Smoky Slate layer and Thick Whisper White card base.

I used the same cardstock layers and added more flowers to the inside to dress it up as well. I usually don’t add a sentiment inside my cards as I think it makes them more versatile, but could easily add one later to personalise it for any occasion.

This is just my first project with this bundle, but I have loads of other samples that show off these gorgeous bundles beautifully on my SU Annual Catalogue 2018/19 Pinterest Board, make sure you check it out to get the most out of your bundle.

Cheers,
Karen
