Sorry I’m a day late with my Festive Friday project, I hope you’ll like it and think it was worth the wait 🙂

I like to find different ways to use my products and while the Treat Tubes are perfect for filling with all sorts of yummy goodies I wanted to see what else I could use them for and came up with a sweet little kit full of sparkly embellishments that fits perfectly inside one of the *new* Acetate Card Boxes.

The Treat Tubes are holding most of the embellishments in this fun kit and each one holds a different type. One has jingle bells (non Stampin’ Up!), another has Mini Tinsel Trim and the third has an assortment of die cut and punched Glimmer Paper elements, Rhinestones and Enamel Shapes.

The rest of the kit contains enough materials to make two 4″ x 4″ cards with envelopes and includes two Clear Tiny Treat Boxes to assemble and decorate.

I’ve used the Seasonal Chums Bundle to create tags for the boxes as well as the focal image on the front of the cards and included a few extra die cuts from the framelit set in Silver Glimmer Paper for extra sparkle.

I designed this kit with kids in mind which is why I chose Seasonal Chums, the images are perfect for colouring and being able to die cut them beforehand means they’re ready to go when they’ve finished colouring them in.

The cards are Thick Whisper White 4″ x 8″, scored @ 4″ with a 3-7/8″ square piece of Quilted Christmas DSP to layer on the front. I also included a Stitched Shapes circle as a neutral background for the images.

The envelopes were made using the Envelope Punch Board and Real Red cardstock to keep with the red, white and silver theme.

I created a simple insert in Whisper White cardstock for the inside of my box. I think this makes it look more professional and helps keep my elements where I want them.

The only thing I need to add are some simple directions/suggestions slipped into the back of the box and I’ll be ready for when the “I’m bored” or “I want to make something” or, the worst, “I need a gift for _____ by tomorrow”, begins.

I hope you like my project today, I was thrilled with how it turned out, it’s soooo cute! I know I’ll be making many more of these before the silly season starts as well as some everyday ones for birthdays and other occasions – I think the A Little Wild Bundle may have to go on my next order 😉
