Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Suite Sentiments for Mother’s Day
I have a quick and easy little box for you today, perfect for last-minute additions to a stall, table favours or just a pretty way to dress up a little gift.
This little box is a pizza style box which means it has a hinged lid and is really quick to make. One piece of cardstock, a few score lines, some snips and adhesive and you’re ready to decorate. I made the box bases using cardstock that coordinates with the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP on top – I promise this is the last one, for this week anyway 😉 a stamped sentiment, some ribbon and bling and it’s ready to fill with all sorts of goodies for a special someone.
The sentiment is from Suite Sentiments (retiring), this is a great set that coordinates with seven of the suites in the Occasions Catalogue, the extra sentiments in matching fonts really adds to the versatility of those suites, but they can also be used by themselves which makes this a great mix and match set.
I used Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral markers to achieve the multi-colour effect, this is such an easy way to do this and I can just colour the parts of the stamp I want, a great way to get more from your sentiments 🙂

I die cut the sentiment using the second smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and popped it up with dimensionals. A little Lace Trim and a few Rhinestones (retiring – SOLD OUT) for some finishing touches and all done!
A Quick and Easy Tutorial:
Finished Dimensions: 2-1/2″ W x 3″ L x 1″ D
Cardstock: 4-1/2″ x 9″
Score @ 1″, 4″, 5″ & 8″ (on the long side)
Score @ 1″ & 3-1/2″ on the short side)
DSP: 2-3/8″ x 2-7/8″
Fold and burnish score lines well
Trim and notch tabs on short sides
Adhere DSP to top and use circle punch to punch notch for easy opening (optional)
Use strong adhesive to adhere tabs to base and lid of box
Decorate as desired
