Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | FREE Card Kit, May 2017
A new month means a new FREE card kit and product giveaway. I’m using a really sweet set this month and am so glad it’s carrying over into the new catalogue. I really didn’t get to use it to its full potential and now I’ll have it for an entire year, at least, yay! 🙂

This month’s kit is made using the Cool Treats Bundle (retiring) and the coordinating Tasty Treats Specialty DSP (retiring)
Note: the Cool Treats Bundle only is retiring, the stamps and framelits will be in the new catalogue but you won’t be able to buy them together and save 10%. If you want this set and the discount, make sure to buy it before June 1!
The kit will include a standard card base in either Peekaboo Peach or Watermelon Wonder (retiring) and a layer of Whisper White, 10 x 14.3cm.
The Tasty Treats Specialty DSP (retiring) strips measure just 1/2″ wide, this is a great way to use up your scraps or to just make your paper go further, a good idea if your making bulk cards 🙂 I adhered these to the top part of my Whisper White layer and used my Grid Paper to make sure they were straight and evenly spaced.
The kit includes one scalloped and one stitched circle and four ice-blocks, two coloured and two in Crumb Cake cardstock for the sticks. I stamped and cut off the stick part on the coloured ones and adhered the matching Crumb Cake die cut behind, it really makes them look more realistic 🙂
I popped up one of the ice-blocks and the scalloped circle using dimensionals to add depth and texture, but you could adhere them flat which might make it a bit more post office friendly 😉
A few sequins from the Sprinkles Embellishments (retiring) attached with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen, a stamped sentiment and some Clear Wink of Stella finishes off the kit!
A sweet and simple card to put together, especially with the die cutting already done 🙂

- Die cut ice-blocks Crumb Cake (x2), coloured cardstock (x2) – unstamped

You will need to supply your own adhesive, stamps and ink to complete this kit.
