Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Valentine’s Day Treats #2 – Tiny Treat Box
Hi everyone 🖐 I have another treat holder to share with you today and it is a tiny one, but still big enough to hold a few yummies 😋 There’s no stamping on todays project, just a little scoring and a few die cuts and I must admit I’m a bit of a fan of no stamp creating, playing with die cuts is one of my favourite things 😁
I’ve used the From My Hearts DSP (which is retired & on the Clearance Rack as of 20.1.21) again today, but any paper you in your stash will do & the best part is that you’ll only need a 4″ x 6″ piece, so you can make 6 from one 12″ x 12″ piece of DSP, I 💖 an economical project.
I did use a few different die sets to create my embellishment for the top, the Many Hearts Dies, Playful Alphabet Dies & Poinsettia Dies, but you don’t have to use these ones, just use what you have or use up some ephemera from previous projects.
Here’s the How To:
Finished Size: 2″W x 1.5″D x 1″H
DSP: 4″ x 6″
- Check the orientation of your DSP before cutting, make sure if you are using a directional
pattern that is is correct on the 4″ side - Score @ 1″ on both sides (on the 4″ side)
- Turn 90°
- Score @ 1″, 2.5″, 3.5″ & 5″ (on the 6″ side)
- Trim the side tabs
- Notch one end (optional)
- Assemble with preferred adhesive
- Decorate as desired
These little boxes are so sweet, I was surprised with how many goodies I could fit into them. See you soon 👋
Cheer
Karen
