Hi everyone 🖐 I know I’m a little late, but today I have my first cards of 2021 to share with you using the delicious (pun intended 😉) Ice Cream Corner Suite in the Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalogue.

I absolutely 💗💗💗 the Ice Cream Corner DSP that is part of the Ice Cream Corner Suite, it’s a perfect Summer paper and I had to break into it by fussy cutting some of the scrumptious mini ice cream images, which are what I’ve used on my cards today.

I die cut a stitched scalloped rectangle for my images to sit on and added some sentiments from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set with my Stamparatus before popping my mini ice creams on top with dimensionals – I used plenty as to give them lots of support.

I layered this onto a Thick Basic White card base, a coordinating coloured cardstock & a stitched rectangle from one of the background patterns from the same DSP pack. To add just a little sparkle, but still keep my cards nice & flat for posting, I added a strip of Metallic Mesh Ribbon behind my focal layer and love the subtle sparkle ✨ this gives.

I’ve added some coordinating layers on the inside and another ice cream in one corner, a little shimmer from my Clear Wink of Stella adds some sparkle and finishes off these simple cards 😊  

I really love how these cards turned out which is why I made 6 of them! I’m also trying to get on top of my birthday card stash this year and have plenty on hand when they come around rather than the last-minute rush 😏
