12 Days of Christmas 2020 | Class Gifts

Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | 12 Days of Christmas 2020 –  Class Gifts

Hi everyone 🖐 The end of the school year is rapidly approaching here so I thought I’d better share our quick & easy class gift idea that you can whip up in very little time 😉

Little Paper Party, 12 Days of Christmas 2020 - Class Gifts, 1

We’re making lollipop holders for the candy cane Chupa Chups this year, using the Warm Hugs Bundle & Stitched Stars Dies. We went with a Real Red, Just Jade & Whisper White colour combination that matched the treat inside beautifully & added just a touch of Gold Foil for some Christmas shine 🌟

The finishing touch on these quick & easy treat holders is a bow of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon that looks super sweet & covers up most of the wrapping that pokes through the top.

Not only are these treat holders quick & easy to make, but they’re very economical as well. You can make 10 bases from one sheet of cardstock (both A4 & Letter) and stamp 28 images onto one sheet of Whisper White (I cut mine to 2″ strips first). The gold stars were all cut from scraps which was a great way to use them up and the bows were tied straight off the roll, which has the least amount of waste, and then attached with a glue dot as the finishing touch.

Here’s the How To:

Cardstock: 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″

  • Score @ 1/2″, 2″, 3-1/4″ & 4-3/4″
  • Fold & burnish all score lines
  • Punch a hole at both ends in the centre
  • Embellish as desired
  • Insert lollipop to finish

I also included a few punch options in my video for those who don’t have dies or want to save even more time.

  • A 3/4″ circle punch will punch out the centre of the sentiment perfectly
  • A 1-1/2″ or 1-3/8″ circle punch will fit the outside of the sentiment
  • Use a small star (or any festive shape) punch to create the embellishment for the centre

My son is looking forward to sharing these little cuties with his classmates and no doubt hoping for lots of leftovers that he’ll have to bring home 🙄

Cheers,
Karen
