12 Days of Christmas 2020 | Stamp-A-Stack #1

Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | 12 Days of Christmas – Stamp-A-Stack #1

Hi everyone 🖐 I’m back with the second project in this year’s 12 Days of Christmas series which is a quick & easy card design using the Christmas Means More stamp set & Plaid Tidings DSP, which are both in the Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue.

Large sentiments, like the ones found in Christmas Means More, are perfect to use when you have lots of cards to make in a short amount of time as they take up the majority of the card front and only need a few touches to dress them up. I used the Stamparatus for all the stamping on my cards and then die cut the front sentiment and a scalloped layer for some extra interest, but using punches or your trimmer will save even more time.

To create a simple background I used the Plaid Tidings DSP which does all the hard work adding colour & pattern and added a little more sparkle with some Red Rhinestones & a Glittered Organdy Ribbon bow.

I added a sentiment from Wrapped In Christmas to the inside panel with a smaller image from Christmas Means More in one corner. I used my Stampin’ Blends to add a little colour to all the holly images & then some Clear Wink of Stella to add even more shimmer ✨

This type of design is a great one to use over & over again and is one of my favourites. Varying the sentiments & papers will give it a different look every time and best of all they go together super fast once you get going 😁

Cheers,
Karen
