A day of perks

Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | A day of perks

Hi everyone 🖐 I have a bright & cheerful card to share with you today made using the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle from the 2020-21 Annual Catalogue & Press On stamp set from the Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue.

Little Paper Party, Nothing's Better Than Bundle, Press On, 1

I wanted a bright & cheerful card for this project so decided to use a piece of the Playing With Patterns DSP for the background and layered this onto a piece of Night of Navy cardstock and then a Thick Whisper White card base.

To create my focal image I used a blender brush and Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana & Calypso Coral inks to create a bright background for my cups of tea/coffee that were stamped in the same colours.

I added a sentiment from Press On, die cut it out and popped this and my focal image up with dimensionals to add a little texture.

The final embellishment were a few of the Playing With Patterns Resin Dots in one corner, I love that little pop of colour and that they’re nice & flat – perfect for posting 😁

I added the same cardstock layers on the inside and two more cups die cut from the scraps of my front panel. I haven’t added a sentiment, as usual, as this card could be used for lots of occasions and I like to keep my options open😉

I really love how this bright, cheerful card turned out, it would be perfect to send to a friend who is in need of a pick-me-up – maybe with a coffee gift card inside as well, yum 😋

Cheers,
Karen
