Hi everyone 🖐 I have another Festive Friday card to share with you today using the Snowman Season stamp set from the 2020-21 Annual Catalogue.

I decided to make a tri-fold card for this project which simply involves folding the front flap of a standard card base in half to create an extra layer – it’s an easy way to change up your card design & make it seem a little more fancy 😄

I adhered two pieces of Plaid Tidings DSP to the outside & inside panels cut 2mm smaller to create a quick & easy background & I love how this pattern looks behind my snowman.

I used an blending brush & Seaside Spray ink to add a touch of colour behind my stamped elements and cut them out with the 2nd smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies. I die cut these shapes again from Whisper White cardstock to neaten up the back of my stamped images, this is optional, but you will see some of the colouring from the back side.

The snowman was stamped and punched out with the Snowman Builder Punch which cuts out the arms, body & hat. I trimmed off the white portion at the base of the hat for a better fit and adhered these elements together to create the finished snowman. 

The rest of the colouring was done with Stampin’ Blends & Markers and I added some sparkle ✨ with rhinestones and a few touches of my Wink of Stella pen.

The above photo shows the card open and I would write my message on the white panel which won’t be seen when the card is on display, you could also add another sentiment here as well if you wanted to keep you message short & sweet 😉 

It’s been ages since I’ve made a tri-fold card and I love the look of the snowman peeking out from the inside. I’ll think I’ll need to experiment with some other folds to see what I can come up with 😁
