Hi everyone 🖐 I have a quick & easy treat box to share with you today made using several stamps set from the Mini & Annual Catalogue. It’s the perfect size to fit a Lindt chocolate bar inside & I think makes a more “grownup” treat than some of the other I’ve made so far 😏

Little Paper Party, 12 Weeks of Halloween 2020 - Week 10, 1

The finished size of the box is 7-5/8″ L x 7/8″ H x 1-1/8″ D and you’ll only need 9″ x 2.5″ for the base & 8-9/16″ x 2-1/16″ for the lid, which means you’ll be able to make three complete boxes from two sheets of cardstock.

I chose Basic Black & Pumpkin Pie cardstock for my boxes and added a little decoration before scoring to the lid. I stamped a background using an image from Geared Up Garage in Grey Granite, stamped off once & a few spiders from Celebration Tidings in Momento Black.

The sentiment is from A Wish For Everything and I heat embossed it in silver to coordinate with the Metallic Mesh Ribbon that I used to keep the box closed (and add a little sparkle✨). I die cut it out with one of the Ornate Frames Dies, punched a hole and threaded it onto my ribbon before tying a big, fluffy bow.

Here’s the How To:

Finished Size: 7-5/8″ x 7/8″ x 1-1/8″
Cardstock Base: 9″ x 2.5″
Cardstock Lid: 8-9/16″ x 2-1/16″

Add any stamping to the lid piece before scoring
Score the lid @ 1/2″ on all four sides
Cut up the score lines along the short end & wedge the tabs
Fold & burnish the score lines
Assemble lid wiht preferred adhesive
Score the base piece at 3/4″ on all four sides
Assemble as per the lid
Decorate as desired

I really like how this simple box turned out & plan to give a few of them to some of adults I know – making sure there’s one for me, yum 😋
