Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Be Bold

Hi everyone 🖐 I have another slimline card to share with you today, using the gorgeous Dressed To Impress stamp set from the 2020-21 Annual Catalogue.

I used one of the fill in images from Dressed To Impress to create a simple background of lipstick swatches down one side of a 3-1/2″ x 7-3/4″ Whisper White panel starting with a subtle Blushing Bride through to a rich Merry Merlot.

I added a sentiment in Momento Black ink on the other side and a few sprinkles of Grey Granite (stamped off once) and adhered this to a 8″ x 3-3/4″ panel of Melon Mambo cardstock & a 8-1/4″ x 4″ Thick Whisper White card base.

I stamped and coloured a few more of the images from the same stamp set & die cut them out using the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies. I adhered one little cluster together and popped all of them up with dimensionals to add some texture. 

I definitely needed bling on this project so I added generous scattering of rhinestones to sparkle it up ✨✨ 

I finished off the inside with the same cardstock layers as the front and a few flowers in two corners. I haven’t added a sentiment to keep it suitable for a variety of occasions and can add one later or write a long message to the recipient 😁

This was such a fun card to make and a great opportunity to use some of the colours I don’t choose very often. Slimline cards give you a much bigger area to play with so are perfect if you have lots of elements you’d like to add, but don’t want to clutter up your card front.
