12 Weeks of Halloween 2020 | Week 3

Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | 12 Weeks of Halloween 2020 | Week 3

Hi everyone 🖐 Today I have the third project in this year’s 12 Weeks of Halloween series to share with you which was made using Plaid Tidings DSP for the treat pouch & the Ornate Frames Dies to create a peek-a-boo window.

Little Paper Party, 12 Weeks of Halloween 2020 - Week 3

The pouch uses an entire 6″ x 6″ piece of Plaid Tidings DSP with some scoring and a smidge of trimming. They would be perfect to make in bulk and even quicker if you left the window out, but I love the sneak peek of the goodies inside 😊

I used the Ornate Frames Dies to create the window & frame and added a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings that I trimmed down with my Paper Snips and popped up with dimensionals. The final touch was one of the ravens from the Monster Bash Enamel Shapes, I’m so glad they’re on the Clearance Rack this year so I can use them in this series, I’ve been slightly addicted to them 😉

Here’s the How To:

Finished Dimensions: 4-1/2″H x 2″W x3/4″D
DSP: 6″ x 6″
Window Sheet: 1-7/8″ x 2″

  • Score @ 1-1/4″, 1-5/8″, 2″, 4″, 4-3/8″ & 4-3/4″
  • Turn 90°
  • Score @ 3/4″ (from both ends)
  • Fold & burnish
  • Trim one end to form base
  • Die cut window & add window sheet (optional)
  • Seal back & bottom with Tear & Tape
  • Fold over top & punch holes for ribbon
  • Add window frame, sentiment & embellishment (optional)
  • Add treat & tie closed with preferred ribbon

I really love how these little pouches turned out and if I can source the individually wrapped candy corn packets (I found them here last year), these will be the treats my youngest will take to school this year.

Cheers,
Karen
