Hi everyone 🖐 I love seeing (and buying 😉) all the new products that come out with each new catalogue, but I also want to keep using the older stamp sets that have carried over as well. So today, I have a card to share with you made using some OBG’s (Oldies But Goodies) and a few of the *new* In Colors from this year’s 2020-21 Annual Catalogue.

For today’s card I’ve used three stamp sets, Birch background, Inspiring Iris & Itty Bitty Greetings. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the background in Seaside Spray onto Whisper White cardstock & stamped it off once to create a lighter colour. I die cut this with a rectangle stitched die & adhered it to a Misty Moonlight card base.

The focal image is from Inspiring Iris and I used Momento Black for the outline with Misty  Moonlight and Just Jade to fill it in.  I love the texture on the fill in images in this set and that they don’t line up perfectly with the outline – which is so forgiving if you are a little off 😁

Although I liked the white, blue & green colour combo, it needed a little something else, so  I decided to add a layer of Rococo Rose behind the flowers and for the sentiment which really makes it pop.

A few Rhinestones and a tiny bow finished off my simple card front & add just enough sparkle to make it extra special.

I added another Whisper White layer to the inside with the same flowers stamped in one corner. I left off a sentiment so there’s plenty of room to write a message and this also keeps my card suitable for lots of occasions.

I really enjoyed making this simple card and think it would look lovely in lots of different colour combos. The layout is a good one for bulk cardmaking and if you stick with simple outline & fill in stamps will go even faster 😊
