Hi everyone 🙂 I ‘m back with a fun card to share with you using the sweet Have A Hoot Bundle – one of my favourite sets in the new Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue 🙂

I’m playing along with this week’s CAS(E) this Sketch! challenge (CTS#383) for the design and it’s been such a long time since I’ve played with my paper craft supplies this was a great way to jump back into it again 🙂

I’m in a bit of a Halloween mood at the moment so thought I’d try my hand at a Halloween themed card. We don’t usually send Halloween cards in Australia, but I’ll definitely be popping this one into the post – closer to the time of course 😉 it’s too cute to gather dust.

I die cut some of the Plaid Tidings DSP using the Rectangle Stitched Dies to create a background for my owls and cut it at 1″ to create the split. I ran the edge of my Basic Black Marker around the edges to cover up the white cut lines and adhered it to a Basic Black card base. The word “BOO!” was die cut using a different pattern and the Playful Alphabet Dies and I added three layers of Basic Black letters behind them to add dimension.

The owls from Have A Hoot were stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and coloured with Stampin’ Blends Markers (colours used will be in the Supply List). I die cut them out with the coordinating Peek-A-Hoot Dies, added some sparkle with Clear Wink of Stella and popped them up with dimensionals to finish off my card front.

To dress up the inside a little, I die cut a Very Vanilla layer and stamped a sentiment and owl from the Have A Hoot stamp set using my Stamparatus. I coloured the owl in the same way as the front and adhered this layer to my Basic Black card base.

This was such a fun card to make, I really, really love these sweet little owls and am so glad there are Christmas ones is this set as well. I hope you like them too, because you’ll be seeing a lot of them 😉
