Party Like A Panda

I’m playing along with my first challenge for 2020 over at AAA Cards #156 and using the super cute stamp set, Party Like A Panda (SSS).

I do love this woebegone little panda who’s missed out on the fun – in a sad sort of way 😉 and probably need to make a few more of these to have on hand for the inevitable “Wasn’t it …. (insert family/friends name) birthday last week?”

I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to create the blue stripe and then layered this panel onto some Granny Apple Green cardstock and a Thick Whisper White card base.

The panda was stamped in Momento Black ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends Markers, I die cut him out with the coordinating dies & popped him up with dimensionals, to add some extra texture to my card.

I finished off the inside with the same layers as the front and added another sentiment from Party Like A Panda – and there’s still plenty of room to write an apology 😉

It’s been a while since I played along with a challenge and I was so pleased with how this project turned out, it came together just as I’d imagined it & on the very first try! 🙂
