Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Over the Moon

We’re getting closer now to the launch of the *new* 2019-20 Annual Catalogue – yay! and today I have a fun card to share with you made using one of the incoming stamp sets, Over the Moon.

Stampin’ Up! have a few fun animal sets in the new catalogue and fortunately this one was available to pre-order (for Demonstrators only), so I snatched it up straight away and can see lots of punny cards being made with it over the coming year 😉

This stamp set was a very popular choice with Demonstrators and there are already loads of samples made using this fun set and one clever demo realised that two of the stamps from Love What You Do would make the perfect cow print, which is what I used to create my background on a 1/4 sheet of Whisper White cardstock.

I cut another piece of Whisper White with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and used my Light Granny Apple Green & Light Balmy Blue Blends to create a simple background and added just a little grass detail in Granny Apple Green ink.

I stamped three cows in Momento Black and coloured them with my Stampin’ Blends Markers – all the colours will be listed below. I added a little detail with a White Jelly Roll Pen (non Stampin’ Up) and fussy cut them out with my Paper Snips.

When we get a new stamp set – especially one that lends itself to puns, I like to do little research to find other ideas I can use with it and so I’ve stamped a different sentiment using the Labeler Alaphabet (retiring) along the bottom of my focal image.

On the inside I added my other cow and one of the sentiments from the Over the Moon stamp set, that I thought complemented the sentiment on the front.

Well, that’s my first project using this fun set and I’m looking forward to making many more and adding some of the other funny ones to my stash soon – there’s one called We’ll Walrus Be Friends just calling my name 😉
