A Big Thank You

Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | A Big Thank You

Today I have a bright & cheerful card to share with you made using several products that will be carrying over to the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue – yay! 🙂 All the stamping is from A Big Thank You, which is currently available as a bundle (save 10%) for both the stamp set & large “thank you” die.

I really gave my Stamparatus a work out to create the fun background on today’s project, but I love the way it turned out and would gladly do it again. Even though it’s not a super quick card it is an easy one.

To create the colourful background I placed my cardstock panel in my Stamparatus and positioned the stamp towards the bottom of the plate using the Small Grid Paper and grid on the plate to centre it & make sure it was straight – it helps that this one is photopolymer 😉

I stamped the bottom row in Bermuda Bay, cleaned my stamp and moved the cardstock down 1cm using the grid paper as a guide and stamped again in Coastal Cabana. I simply repeated this for the entire cardstock panel until I reached the top and then adhered it to a Thick Whisper White card base.

The sentiment is also from A Big Thank You and I heat embossed it in white on Basic Black cardstock and die cut it out using the Stitched Labels dies – it only just fit 🙂 & popped it up on the front of my card with dimensionals.

I die cut a few hearts in solid cardstock using the Be Mine Stitched dies, scored them down the centre and adhered them with Tombow and Mini Dimensionals to help keep their shape.

A few rhinestones finished off the front of my card and add a lovely sparkle – every card needs that, right 😉

I’m so happy that A Big Thank You is carrying over, it’s one of those sets that I had-to-have, but hadn’t inked up at all! It has lots of mix & match sentiments as well as a stack of fun images and could be used for much more than just thank you cards.

Everything I’ve used in today’s project will be available in the *new* 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. If you’d like your own copy to see what’s staying and what awesome *new* things are coming, please fill out a request form and I’ll pop one in the post for you (Australian residents only).
