Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Old meets New
Today I have a quick and easy card to share with you that combines the carrying over, Crafting Forever stamp set with the *new* 2018-2020 In Colors & one of the *new* core colours Grey Granite.
The design for today’s card is from this weeks FMS338 challenge. As soon as I saw it, I thought of the three pens in the Crafting Forever stamp set, they seemed the perfect fit 🙂
I stamped the pen outlines in Momento Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock and used the new 2018-2020 In Colors & a blender pen to colour them in.
A little Clear Wink of Stella on the “metal” parts added a subtle shimmer to finish them off, then they were fussy cut & popped up with dimensionals in the middle of the card front.
I created a simple background using the same stamp and the *new* Grey Granite ink, stamped off once. I was so pleased to see another grey in the new colour range, it’s such a versatile neutral and this one has a lovely warm undertone.
The sentiment is from Wood Words – also carrying over – and was stamped in Momento Black onto a piece of Grey Granite cardstock. Another layer of Grey Granite & a Thick Whisper White card base finished off today’s simple card, I think it’s taken longer to describe than make it 😉
There are only a few days now until the *new* catalogue goes live – yay!!!, but this also means that there are only a few days left to pick up any retiring items that are on you “must-have” list. Please remember that all stamp sets carrying over that are currently available as a cost saving bundle – like Wood Words – will not be available as a bundle in the new catalogue. If you’ve had your eye on any of these, make sure to add them to your shopping basket before June 1, to save 10%.
Cheers,
Karen
