Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | For the guys

I know a lot of card makers struggle with creating masculine cards, so today I have a set of quick and easy guy cards to share with you, made using the Truly Tailored Bundle (retiring – available while supplies last) and the coordinating True Gentleman DSP (retiring – available while supplies last).

I was a little sad to see this stamp set on the Retirement List, I quite like the quirky sentiments in this one, but at least the super versatile Tailored Tag Punch is carrying over to the new catalogue 🙂

One thing I like about the Tailored Tag Punch is how well the pieces stack together, it’s a great way to use up smaller pieces of DSP to create a fun background that takes no time at all. I used the True Gentleman DSP which is part of the True Gentleman Suite for today’s cards, but this simple card layout would look great using practically any DSP you have.

I adhered my punched pieces onto 10 x 14.3cm pieces of Chocolate Chip (retiring – SOLD OUT), Night of Navy and Tranquil Tide cardstock and added those to standard Thick Very Vanilla card bases using dimensionals.

The sentiments were stamped in the same colours onto Very Vanilla cardstock and punched out with the same punch. I stamped the image part of the sentiment again and fussy cut them out to pop up for added interest.

I kept the rest of the embellishment nice and simple, with just a band of the Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon (retiring – available while supplies last) and some Linen Thread underneath the sentiment piece.

These really were a quick and easy set of cards to make and the perfect way to use up the smaller pieces of my True Gentleman DSP.
