Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Dare to Dream
Today I have a quick and easy card to share with you made using my favourite host set, Dare to Dream. Host sets are only available using Stampin’ Rewards and usually retire each year. Unfortunately, this year is no exception and all the current host sets are on the Retirement List 😦
Before they leave, I want to give them some more love and this weeks’ challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch #266 was a great reason to get those tiny balloons out again 🙂
I love the tiny balloons in this set and they seemed perfect for the three small elements that are on the sketch. I stamped the outlines in Momento Black ink and the coloured section in Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay and Tangerine Tango (retiring).
Note: We are having a Colour Revamp this year and some of our core colours are leaving, but new colours are coming in as well as some previously retired favourites. I’ll have a post just about the revamp soon that will explain it all clearly.
I used the lovely cloud design from Myths & Magic DSP (retiring – available while supplies last) to create a simple background and die cut three layers of clouds in Whisper White and Vellum using the Rainbow Builder Framelits (retiring) to add some depth.
There are always a few surprises on the Retirement List each year and the Sunshine & Rainbows Bundle was one of them for me. I love the cloud edgelits in this set, they are so versatile and can be used for much more than just clouds. If you’ve had your eyes on these, don’t wait too long to add them to your shopping basket or they’ll be gone.

Before I popped up my lowest layer with dimensionals, I stamped one of the sentiments from Dare to Dream along the lower edge. The sentiments in this set are great to mix and match and I definitely think I got full value out of them 🙂
A quick and easy card for the middle of the week using a couple of retiring favourites one more time. I think the Rainbow Builder Framelits will be moving to my “keep” pile after May 31st, they’re just too versatile and perfect to use with the Up & Away Thinlits and Lift Me Up stamp set which are not on the retirement list.
Cheers,
Karen
