Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Christmas Quilt, FREE Kit November
A new month means a new FREE card kit and product giveaway and this month’s kit features one of my favourite bundles in the Holiday Catalogue, the Christmas Quilt Bundle.
This bundle is such a versatile one and can be used for much, much more than just Christmas cards. I’ve seen birthday, baby, thank you cards and more created with this amazing bundle, check out my SU Holiday Catalogue 2017 Pinterest board for just a few ideas of how versatile this bundle can be 🙂
You’ll receive a card kit when you shop with me and use the current month’s Host Code: VAKN9YVF (no minimum purchase required) as well as FREE product whenever you spend $90+ and use the current Host Code.
(Available to Australian residents only. Please see my customer rewards pages for more details).
I’ve kept this month’s card quite clean and simple with lots of white to contrast with the Quilted Christmas DSP trees and banner. I’ve adhered the trees to a Whisper White stitched square embossed with the coordinating Quilt Top TIEF and layered on a scalloped square of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.
I added a sentiment from the coordinating Christmas Quilt stamp set in Real Red ink underneath the image to finish off the front of the card. You can add any sentiment to chose to finish off your card as the kit will be unstamped as per Stampin’ Up! policy.
TIP: When I stamp directly onto a card base I try to do it before I’ve adhered any other elements (when possible), that way, if it’s not perfect I just need a new card base and can still use everything else.
Two sheets in this paper pack have images which can be die cut with the coordinating Quilt Builder Framelits and this piece with the “trees” is my favourite. The tiny triangles have their own tiny patterns and I think the contrasting white really helps them stand out and take centre stage 🙂
I wanted to get as many individual trees as I could out of this sheet, so you’ll receive one die cut tree with the stitched detail inside and four more that are fussy cut. Two will have a smaller border than the die cut one and two won’t have any border, this allowed me to use the triangles at the edge of sheet and I ended up with three different sizes of trees which I quite like
I couldn’t leave the inside completely plain, so I layered a Whisper White panel onto a piece of Lemon Lime Twist. Two more trees in one corner tie the inside and outside together nicely and still leaves lots of room for a Christmas message.
The free kit for this month will include
- Standard C6 Thick Whisper White card base (x1) & envelopes (x1)
- Quilted Christmas DSP (assorted designs) – 1-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ (banner)

- Whisper White embossed, stitched square
