Today I have a quick and easy thank you card to share with you using the Card Front Builder Thinlits. I used these thinlits last month for my free kits, but used the negative image for my card front and ended up with a lot of die cut trees leftover.

Of course, I didn’t just throw them away, the horror 😉 so had to come up with another design to use them up and this is the very clean and simple thank-you card I sent to my customers in August.

I created a little window for my trees to peek through using the Layering Ovals Framelits and surrounded it with a Stitched Shapes oval. I love the subtle texture this added to the front of this super simple card 🙂

The sentiment and banner outline are from Thoughtful Banners, stamped in Berry Burst ink and punched with the coordinating Duet Banner Punch. I popped the sentiment up with dimensionals, but this card is still quite flat and perfect for posting without any extra protection.

Inside has a negative image of the tree and a single deer die cut from Soft Suede cardstock. I haven’t added a sentiment inside to keep this card suitable for any occasion and send these cards to my customers blank so that they can use them themselves.

It was the thinlit set that really sold me on the Carols of Christmas bundle, the trees, deer and card front thinlits can be used for so much more than just Christmas.

I hope you liked my quick and easy card today and my “use-it-up” idea. I love being able to use up my scraps for other projects, I kid myself that I’m being economical, which gives me permission to buy more – it makes sense in my head 😉
