Welcome back to another Masculine Monday! Today I have a super fast, quick and easy, guy friendly card to share with you that could be used for loads of different occasions just by changing up the sentiment.

The layout was inspired by this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch #231 challenge. As soon as I saw this sketch I thought, guy card! Funny how your brain works sometimes – or maybe it’s just mine 😉

I used Guy Greetings and Basic Grey ink for both the tools and sentiment and you can’t see it in the pictures, but the tools were heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder which adds a subtle shimmer and texture.

The background design is the grid pattern from Timeless Textures and I love how it resembled chain wire fencing when stamped diagonally – a happy accident 🙂

My image was die cut with a square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and popped up on a Basic Grey layer embossed with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.

A sentiment on a skinny banner was popped up on dimensionals underneath and my card was done – fastest card I’ve ever designed I think 🙂

I kept inside quite plain with just the tools stamped in one corner and a strip of skinny washi tape top and bottom.

I hope you liked my quick and easy project today. I love it when a project turns out just how I pictured it, without any hiccoughs – a rare occurrence for me – and I like this uncluttered look, that still has loads of the texture I love, to stop it being too bland.
