Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Floral Swirly Scribbles
Mother’s Day is just around the corner, I hope you’re all prepared with pampering in mind – hint, hint to my boys 😉 If not, this clean and simple (CAS) card is perfect for last-minute makes and quick enough to make a whole set of, which would make a lovely gift by itself 🙂
I started with a standard card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock and added a simple feature panel, a layer of Rose Red cardstock and slightly smaller embossed layer.
I used the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder (retiring) for the embossing as it went with my floral theme and used the de-bossed side for a more subtle effect.
Two of the Swirly Scribbles Framelits were die cut in Rose Red cardstock and part of the largest die from the Rose Garden Thinlits in Always Artichoke. They came together nicely to create some stylized roses.
A sweet sentiment from Dragonfly Dreams underneath the panel in Rose Red ink finished off the design and can be used for much more than just Mother’s Day, a good one to have in your stash 🙂
A little Clear Wink of Stella on my roses adds a subtle shimmer and sparkle and finishes off my card. I really love a little glimmer on my projects and this is my favourite way to add it 🙂
