Thank You cards Lift Me Up

Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Karen Robinson | Thank You cards Lift Me Up

Today I have my February customer thank you cards to share with you. They’re quick and easy, but still very sweet and are made using the Lift Me Up Bundle and Carried Away DSP.

I stamped three large clouds in Smoky Slate directly onto the card base and then stamped another two large and two small and cut them out with the matching framelits. They’re adhered flat and you can’t really tell from the photos but they add a lovely texture in person.

The balloons and sentiments were simply stamped, die cut and popped up with dimensionals. A couple of rhinestones on the largest balloon finished them off and added a little sparkle.

TIP: I had a bit of difficulty achieving the intensity of colour I wanted on the wide balloon stripes with  Watermelon Wonder on the Mint Macaron cardstock. I tried a few things but what worked best was to go over the stripes with the Real Red Watercolour Pencil and then very lightly blend it with a Blender Pen. I was really pleased with the result and plan to try it with other colours as well.

Dimensions:
Standard card base: 14.8 x 10.5cm (when folded)
DSP: 8 x 10.5cm (mark at 5.5cm on the left side and trim for angle)
Scraps of Whisper White, Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder cardstock

A short and sweet post today for a quick and easy card 🙂

See you soon!

Cheers,
Karen
