Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Karen Robinson – 12 Days of Christmas 2016 | Day 4
Today I have a quick and easy Christmas card to share with you using our Note Cards and Envelopes. These are great to have on hand for those times when you need a card in a flash as they’re already cut and scored and come with envelopes. If you have a simple design that you love you can make loads of these in no time, which comes in handy at this busy time of year.
I used the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler inks for the stamping. I love that this particular set has both images and sentiments, nice and easy 🙂
The only embellishment is a couple of Mini Jingle Bells (on special in the Year-End Closeouts) tied with a strand of Burlap Ribbon and attached with a glue dot. The addition of Clear Wink of Stella to the berries added the finishing touch and that bit of sparkle I love 🙂
If these were going to be posted in their envelopes I’d leave off the bells and maybe double up the burlap bow or use the bow from the set, but these were part of our end of year teacher gifts and were hand delivered so I could add as many embellishments as I liked.
I hope you liked todays quick and easy project, they’re very simple, but sweet, and would look lovely in other colourways too. If you altered the sentiment they would also make nice thank you cards for after Christmas, something I know I need to make more of an effort with myself.
I have a quick and easy box to share for Day 5, see you soon!
Cheers,
Karen
