Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Karen Robinson – Festive Friday
Sorry this is a bit late, I received some extra storage for my craft area š as an early birthday present so was busy rearranging things all day yesterday, but I’m back with the Christmas version of these little pouches from my previous post and I have to say I like these ones even more than the Halloween version.
I used paper from the Candy Cane Lane DSP this time and the sentiments are from the Tin of Tags. This was one of my must have sets from the Holiday Catalogue – as well as about 90% of the rest of the catalogue š I love the font in this set and think the size suits this project perfectly.
I used the snowflake image as the background in Crumb Cake ink stamped off once, it doesn’t show up on the photos very well but adds a lovely subtle design in person. The sentiments were inked up using Real Red and Early Espresso Markers, I love this multi-colouredĀ look, butĀ they would look just as nice just in one colour.
A circleĀ of Red Glimmer Paper and a little of the Candy Cane Lane Baker’s Twine finishes them off and adds the necessary sparkle – I rarely make a Christmas project without any sparkle š
Isn’t the little gingerbread man cute? I found them at Big W and they coordinated with the paper so well that a box had to come home with me, they’re individually wrapped so my youngest son had to eat this one after the photos were taken,Ā sometimes sacrifices have to be made š
I hope you liked this version, I love them, they turned outĀ better than I’dĀ hoped for, I think a big bowl of these would look lovely dressingĀ up some Christmas treats andĀ they’d make great gift tags as well, there’s plenty of room on the back to write and it would be a sweet way to add a little something extra to a small gift.
